[Glen Quoich, Braemar, Aberdeenshire – 16 January 2024]

Grain of Glen Quoich (originally appearing as Grain, the third movement of On a Wing and a Prayer – Deeside, co-created by the composer along with Katherine Wren and Joe Stollery) is a short study on the sonic characteristics and behaviours of water, its graininess, its dynamic movement, with hints of what might lie underneath the surface of the water.
